Welcome back

We’re very pleased to welcome back Spring Hill to the next market.

Spring Hill Farms and Gardens is a regeneration project that is developing an educational centre and revitalising the extensive Farms and Gardens resource at HMP Springhill. Their focus is on education, training, rehabilitation and community engagement based around the cultivation of fresh and local produce and gifts for sale, including their own apple juice, a range of seasonal fresh fruit and veg, potted herbs, planters, wood products and a selection of jams and chutneys from local producers. I’m sure some, if not all, of these will be finding their way to The Pantry spring market.

Their website is full of interesting information about the project and as well as listing all the wonderful produce they sell, it also shows some of the wooden items made there. If you’d like to buy directly from them, the shop at HMP Springhill, Grendon Underwood, is open between 12.00 and 2.00pm, 7 days a week.

I live in a small Oxfordshire village, and am writing a blog for The Pantry, a community project to provide the village with a place to meet and to buy locally made and sourced products.
