A few more photos taken at the Christmas market. These ones show just how busy the General Store was – and give a glimpse of some of the lovely things we were selling.

Christmas Market
More wine, anyone …?

As none of us had any experience of running a market like this, we’d found it quite hard to decide how much of anything to buy. It was interesting to see what sold well and what was less popular. The speciality bread from the Cornfield Bakery sold very well, as did the cheese from Crudges. We had a late delivery from the Oxford Cheese Company, and that sold out too, so clearly people are keen to buy good-quality local staples, even at a Christmas market,  as well as luxury items.

Our volunteers were so friendly and enthusiastic, they made the day really enjoyable.
